Fin Box is an original mixed media wall sculpture built on a cradled birch box, 8×8 inches. A salvaged vintage surfboard fin — sanded down and painted in the artist's signature style — floats slightly off the back panel on a wooden dowel, hovering between object and painting, sculpture and memory.
The cradled birch box is painted and layered with textural elements that carry the same visual language as the fin itself, making the whole piece feel unified — like it grew together rather than was assembled. Part of a limited edition of 6.
